New advanced technology has enabled the Animal Intensive Care Unit, (AICU) to digitally control temperature and monitor humidity. Armed with an audiovisual safety alarm, the AICU provides good environmental control. Veterinary designed and tested, the new AICU has set a higher standard for sophisticated environmental support for our birds and other small animals. The AICU was designed, veterinary tested and proven by Hannis L. Stoddard, III D.M.V. Excellent visibility, front, and back and top allows precise easy visual monitoring. This unit is manufactured from the finest acrylic and is lightweight and durable. The AICU is very versatile and can be used for hand feeding babies, pediatrics and also for orphaned or abandoned animals. The AICU provides quality care for pets that are injured, ill or convalescing. The heating console is easily removed to allow the main cabinet to be submerged for cleaning and disinfecting. The main cabinet has no metal or electrical component to rust or corrode. Humidity is maintained with a water tray housed in the upper half of a separate compartment located between the control console and the main cabinet. The lower half of this compartment is equipped with an electrostatic air filtering system. Temperature can be maintained between ambient and approximately 100* F. This unit is also available in Celsius.
